Who We Are

PactPodz is operated by Jake Lyons, doing business as PactPodz, based in Chicago, Illinois.

What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use PactPodz:

Account information: your name, email address, and password when you sign up.

Profile information: your location, photo, introduction, work type, social links, and any other information you choose to add to your profile.

Session data: attendance records, daily goals, wins, losses, North Star Goals, Daily Affirmations, and Staked Commitments you enter during sessions.

Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full card number. Stripe stores your payment method and we store a reference to it for future charges.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general activity within the platform.

Communications: messages you send to other members through the platform.

Video sessions: PactPodz uses 100ms for video. We do not record pod sessions. Video is not stored by PactPodz.

How We Use It

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the PactPodz platform
• Assign you to pods and manage your session schedule
• Process financial stakes and membership payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails about your account, pod assignments, and session reminders
• Calculate attendance and settlement at the end of each weekly rotation
• Enable peer review of Staked Commitments
• Improve the platform based on how it is used

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

Third-Party Services

PactPodz uses the following third-party services:

Stripe: payment processing and card storage. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

100ms: video infrastructure for pod sessions. Sessions are not recorded.

Supabase: database and authentication infrastructure.

Resend: transactional email delivery.

Vercel: hosting and deployment.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership, your account data is retained for 90 days before deletion, during which time you can request reactivation. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing info@pactpodz.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

PactPodz uses cookies for authentication and basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

PactPodz is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email. Continued use of PactPodz after changes constitutes acceptance.
