These terms govern your use of PactPodz. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Who Operates PactPodz

Membership

A PactPodz membership gives you access to daily pod sessions, goal tracking, peer review, financial stakes, co-working sessions, the member directory, The Board, and the community feed.

Your membership begins with a 7-day free trial. Members referred by an existing member receive a 30-day free trial. After your trial ends, you are charged $15 per month. The price for founding members (those who join before the price increases) is locked at $15 per month for as long as their membership remains active.

You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to create an account.

Financial Stakes

Financial stakes are a core part of the PactPodz experience. By setting up a stake you authorize PactPodz to charge your payment method at the end of each weekly rotation if you do not meet the following thresholds:

Attendance: you must attend at least 3 of your 5 scheduled weekday sessions. Missed sessions beyond that threshold are charged at your daily stake amount per session.

Federal holidays count as a free absence for everyone in the pod that week. The attendance threshold that week is 3 of the remaining 4 sessions.

Staked Commitments: you must submit at least one Staked Commitment per week for peer review. Failure to submit results in a charge of one day's stake.

Peer reviews: you must complete assigned peer reviews. Missing 3 or more reviews in a 30-day period results in a charge of one day's stake.

Charges happen after the week settles, not before. Stakes are set by you. Minimum $1, maximum $100 per day.

Forfeited stakes go to PactPodz. They are not redistributed to other members.

There is no back-pay. Charges are calculated based on the stake amount active at the time of the settlement, not retroactively.

Pause Policy

Members may pause their membership, which excludes them from pod rotations and stake settlements during the pause period.

Maximum 2 consecutive pauses. Maximum 3 pauses within any 8-week window.

The following are designated free pause windows and do not count against pause limits:

• Thanksgiving week (the week of the fourth Thursday of November)
• The two weeks spanning Christmas and New Year's (December 24 through January 6)

Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Conduct

All members are expected to follow the PactPodz Code of Conduct, available at pactpodz.com/conduct. Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal without refund.

Pod Sessions and Video

Pod sessions use video. Camera must be on during sessions. Sessions are not recorded by PactPodz. Members may not record sessions under any circumstances.

Content You Post

You own the content you post on PactPodz. By posting it you grant PactPodz a non-exclusive license to display it within the platform. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything illegal, harassing, or that violates another person's privacy.

The Board

The Board is a member marketplace for posting professional services, offers, and requests. PactPodz does not facilitate, guarantee, or take responsibility for any transactions between members. All dealings between members through The Board are solely between those members.

Referrals

Members who refer new paying members earn $10 per month per referred member for as long as both parties remain active in good standing. Referral commissions are paid monthly. PactPodz reserves the right to withhold commissions if fraud or abuse is detected.

Disclaimers

PactPodz is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, results, or outcomes. We are not responsible for the actions of other members.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PactPodz's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify active members by email of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
